Wells | Lifestyle Newborn Session in Houston Texas

You know when you meet someone and you just have an instant connection and it's like you've been friends for years?? That was me and Maddie! But the ironic thing is, it was the same way for my husband Brandon and her hubby Nate - instant friends! I think you might agree with me when I say that it's considered such a gem when you find super fun and awesome couple friends where you all get along so naturally and have such a great time together every.single.time you hang out - that's how it was with Maddie and Nate... the 4 of us - we just all clicked! We met several years ago in Houston and have been laughing together ever since!
Before babies, we would binge watch our favorite tv show for a whole weekend - no joke. We'd make a big pallet on the floor of our living room, go grocery shopping to store up on the necessities (popcorn & steak), and then stay inside all weekend and watch tv and eat! The best! And both Nate and Brandon love woodworking and building, and Maddie and I both love furniture (haha) - so it was a great match when the guys would build together in the garage and we'd sit inside, snuggle our puppies, and talk about life! :) I'm telling ya - Maddie and Nate are just so so special to us! If it was appropriate to give them heart necklaces broke in half that said "BFF"... we would totally do it.
Even though Brandon and I moved from Houston 1.5 years ago, we still keep in touch with Maddie and Nate all the time! So when they asked if they could fly me down to Houston to photograph their new precious baby boy - YOU KNOW I JUMPED UP AND DOWN AND SAID YES! I was SO excited to get to see them, hug them, see their new beautiful home, and most importantly - meet adorable baby Wellington Davis Long!!
And let me tell ya - my visit was AHHHMAZING!! Baby Wells is a literal dream baby! He barely made a peep the entire time I was visiting!! He is so sweet and calm and SO ridiculously cute!!! Goodness, is he cute!!! i even got to take photos during his bath and he was so calm and so happy during it! (by the way - this was the first time i've photographed a newborn bath time and i looooooved it!!!! clients - let me know if you want me to snap pics during bath time at your lifestyle newborn session! i'm all about it!!!)
And their home - yall. So much light was flooding in the windows.... ahhhh! And between Maddie's amazing decorating style and green thumb, and Nates home remodeling skills - their house looks like it belongs in a magazine! So beautiful!!
Maddie and Nate - thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the opportunity to come see you guys and meet your baby boy and for entrusting me with these images!!! Love you both so much and can't wait to see you again!
