I got to meet baby Benjamin at the precious age of 8 days old!! (I LOOOOOVE my job!!!) and oh my goodness... that boy... he peacefully slept THE ENTIRE time!!! He only started to open his eyes a couple of times so his mama fed him right away and then back to dream land he went! He was such a doll! His parents just stared at him, and smiled, and talked about this precious little gift... and I stood back and captured the moments. be still my heart!

and their house, wowzers. it was gorgeous! it was filled with natural light - my fav! it was light and airy and completely magazine worthy! they built the house and moved in only two months ago (just in time for baby's arrival!) and with her event planner eye and his real estate mind... they designed an exquisite home! THEIR HOME WAS MADE FOR A LIFESTYLE session! EVERY ROOM WAS perfectly PUT TOGETHER AND STYLED BEAUTIFULLY - IT WAS FUN TO MOVE AROUND the HOUSE TOGETHER AND FIND DIFFERENT PLACES TO SHOOT. at one point, we went to the music room and, WITHOUT ANY PROMPTING, Ben just picked up his guitar and started playing for Stephanie and baby - it was like i wasn't even there... and i LOVED IT! LIFESTYLE SESSION AT IT'S finest!

I seriously LOVE newborn sessions! There's just nothing like them! You don't have to tell the new parents to "smile" bc they can't help but smile!!! They are just bubbling over with joy and smiles (and some coffee) as they look in awe at this precious gift the Lord has given them!
