Lincoln W | 1st Birthday Session in Franklin TN

 I met the Whitaker family back in the fall when they hired me to take their family photos.  they were SUCH a fun family to photograph - seriously, we were laughing the majority of our time together!  i was super excited when they contacted me about taking their youngest kiddo's 1-year-old photos at their new house in franklin!  i loved stepping into their gorgeous home getting to see more of who they are and to see their style.  their house is full of natural light, some farmhouse touches and lots of laughter. once walking around their home, i quickly realized that becca (mommy whitaker) loves black & white photos!  she has an entire wall decorated with b&w photos from throughout the years.  i love a beautiful black & white photo - they are so classic, so timeless.  i knew when i delivered her images to her, that i would want to include a variety of of color and b&w photos  (as you can clearly see when you look through the images below)!

we started our session with 1-year-old lincoln in their backyard and then we moved inside.  once we started taking photos, i couldn't help but want to capture his gorgeous blue eyes!  he is so handsome and gave me some great 'blue steel' model faces!  here are just a few of my favs from their collection!  happy birthday Lincoln!!!  xoxo, brigette

(random fun fact 1: lincoln and my baby beckett share the same bday! woo hoo! || random fun fact 2: i did two1-year-old sessions this week and they were both of baby's named 'lincoln'! what are the chances?! || and random fun fact 3 just bc i feel like everything needs to come in groupings of 3s:  we have found a new coffee from target that we love - it's a light roast ethiopian bean with a hint of chocolate and berries. um, it's amazing!)
