Akers | 10 Year Anniversary

My big sister and her husband got married 10 years ago!  Yay!!!  And their wedding was gorgeous: live band, 3-tiered cake, full course dinner,  rose petals thrown as they exited into a rolls royce!  It was beautiful!  But the most beautiful part was this precious new couple starting their lives together as one!  

I stood beside them on the day they got married and now, 10 years later, it's such a blessing for me to live by them as they celebrate 10 years!!!  To celebrate their 10 year anniversary, my sister pulled her wedding dress out of that big ol sleeping bag hanging in the closet, keith donned a handsome jcrew suit, the girls wore their flower dresses from a recent wedding they were in, and some friends made them beautiful bouquets and a boutineer!  We spent an entire evening just having fun and laughing as they were a bride & groom again!  On-lookers would wish them "congrats!" and they'd just smile and say "thanks!!!" :) 

Jennifer and Keith: I love you both so very much!  You bring out the best in each other!  Together you two make such a wonderful team.  You are raising the two most beautiful girls and their precious personalities are a reflection of how you love them!  Your home puts Jesus first.  Your door is always open for anyone who needs it.  you serve others in so so so many ways!  And you always have super delicious food on the table to feed me :) Thank you for letting me be your 3rd wheel for a lot of those early days when you were dating.  and now, thank you for loving me and my boys so well!  We love you both so much and are so so happy for  you!!!

Then we said "bye bye" to the babies and proceeded to take photos of just the two lovebirds!!  (and here's where my husband, the true star of the evening, came into play!  While we spent the next 1.5 hours having fun taking sweet and romantic photos... he was in the parked car with all 3 babies (mine included) keeping them fed, happy, and entertained!  He's the greatest Uncle B and Daddy ever!!!)

Now... onto the sweet and romantic stuff..... ;)
