“The Light Retreat, that’s just what it gave - LIGHT. Brigette was able to craft such a useful yet beautiful & relaxing retreat. I have reflected on what to say and I just keep thinking about how gushy this will sound because the experience was undoubtedly incredible. There was beauty and intention behind it all: the education, the location, the food, the family sessions, the people. Oh, and speaking of the people. I am still blown away by the incredible women that gathered together on this retreat. It was wild how quickly we were able to become close to one another and share information, resources, ideas, and laughter... lots and lots of laughter! If you are considering any kind of mentorship from Brigette I say, hop to it!! She is going to speak goodness & life into you and your business. ”
The Light Retreat took place in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida! We stayed at an immaculate 3-story home with a stunning ocean view! We ate yummy food, we laughed a ton and we dove into all aspects of running a photography business!

It’s not a true retreat without fun goodies!! Each attendee received a pair of earrings (that looked just like our sun logo!), a beach towel, and a coffee mug from Anthropologie!

We learned everything from how to have a good relationship with our clients, to how to manage our business, to editing, and so much more! We had 6 different families model for us at our Portfolio Building Sessions! They were absolutely PERFECT!!! The attendees couldn’t get enough of them! All the families were styled by personal stylist @styledbymegt !
I was tickled to take headshots of each gorgeous attendee! These women. The fact that they invested time, resources, energy, days into attending this retreat so that they could get equipped, empowered and encouraged… it means SO much to me and I’m SO proud of them for taking the next step to up their photography businesses!
